Friday - Sunday Bloodsuckers

I have been hearing Vampire Weekend on XM lately. I bought the new CD today and have to say I am loving these guys. The band is a blend of reggae, ska, punk and a touch of classical. They are a tad hard to pigeon-hole in a particular style. I can't wait to give the CD a few more listens and discover more layers of talent this band offers. They are out there on iTunes if you want to sample their sounds. Definitely give them a listen if you are looking for something newer and fresher than the regurgitations of Britney. For vampires, they don't suck!
