I am both amazed and appalled by this ‘human’ and his alleged actions regarding dog fighting. No animal should be put through even a fraction of what these poor dogs, mostly Pit Bulls, endured. And on top of that, why was Vick even doing it? God knows he didn’t need the money with his NFL contract and various endorsements. It is a power and ego play. A gross display of dominance and greed.

I agree that the legal system needs to run its course. However, I hope it isn’t the celebrity track that more than often applies a second set of standards and rules. Look at O.J. and Paris. Though very different crimes from each other, they received the golden treatment and are back on the street with little, or no, accountability for their actions. Vick should be processed and tried as any other person in this country…not some bling-wearing ego-maniac.
I applaud Nike for at least suspending the release of the new line of Vick endorsed/named products until a decision is reached. If convicted, and I hope he is, I can only hope that Nike, the NFL and any other business arrangement in place, cuts all ties with this heathen and suspends him for life. Then let the legal system add its own punishment.
If convicted, a proper sentence, in my book, would be to slather him in bacon grease, break one leg, hook up a couple electrodes to him that respond to screams, chuck him into his own blood-soaked battle arena, then release the hounds. An eye for an eye seems only fair in this case.

Thank you very much for your comments. Do we even know how many kids idolize this jerk and try to emulate his every action.
I truly believe that someone will put out his lights if the NFL and authorities don't take action
