What's going on in my corner of the universe? Take a glimpse into what is happening, what I am thinking (or not thinking) and what I might be babbling about at any given time. Planet Granville...mindless babble covered in a crunchy, candy shell!
At last night's Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Aretha Franklin took to the stage looking like Mama Bear after eating Goldilocks, Papa Bear, Baby Bear, all the bowls of porridge and every chair and bed in the house! That is the real-talk version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears!
Even though the entire mink population is extinct because of Queen Aretha, I can not fully hate on her. Mostly because I am still mesmerized by her honey baked chichis. I just want to dive in and SUFFOCATE!
Here is an amazing video recently made by students at L'Université du Québec à Montréal. It's all done in just one take and according to the YouTube notes, the entire production took just over two hours. Too fun...I just keep watching it over and over again.

As I crawled into bed yesterday evening, I realized that I have a nightly ritual. Or more accurate, a quirk. My alarm clock is a Bose Wave radio. The display on it dims and brightens according to the ambient light in the room. I noticed that when I am in bed and turn off the lamp on the nightstand that I remain sitting upright and staring at the clock until the clock dims down in the dark. Once dim, I get horizontal and call it a night. Thinking back, I have been doing this as long as I can remember since I have owned the radio. It's officially freakish. Okay, so let's hear it...what little quirks/rituals do you have?
